I’m 33. I have an amazing wife and beautiful baby son who are my world. I like food, wine, lots of different music, snowboarding, beaches, boats and cycling. I have two great dogs – that’s Baxter in the picture down there.
For as long as I know, photography has intrigued, obsessed, amazed, moved and inspired me in various measures. I like to make great photos and know that is important to you.
I spent 13 years of my life working as a project manager. During this time, my work took me to the USA, South Africa, Europe and India. I made lots of great friends, learnt a lot about myself and life and most importantly got to meet my wonderful wife.
After years of being uncertain about my career path, in 2007 I made the life changing decision to to start my own business as a photographer. Cloudlight was formed and here you are now.
I am a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers – a trade organisation setup with a code of ethics to raise photography standards, educate and promote impeccable business standards of it’s members. The art of photography is one of constant learning and I am always pushing myself to do better every time I take a photograph. I am fully CRB checked and comprehensively insured. This might not be the most interesting fact but it’s important and something that too many photographers overlook.
There is still a long way to go to achieve all of my goals. With the smiles of my wife and son to inspire me every day, I know I will get there.
